Sunshine Stars football club of Ondo state today suspnded the team Welfare Officer, Abdulrahman Abdulsalam for his conduct during the NPFL matchday 15 game against Nasarawa United at the Akure sports complex.
According to a release by the teams media officer Chris Okunuwa,Abdulrahman will remain suspended pending the outcome of the inquiry process with the Ondo State FA and stadium security personnel.
Okunuwa further revealed that a definite pronouncement will be made at the end of the investigation.
It was earlier reported that the match day 15 encounter between host Sunshine stars and Nasarawa united was halted by the center referee after fourth five minute over an allegations of harassment by sunshine stars welfare officer on the referees
The match was postponed till the second day and ended goaless.
