RETIREMENT OF HEAD OF SERVICE AND APPOINTMENT OF ACTING HEAD OF SERVICE
Ondo State Governor, Hon Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has approved the retirement of the State Head of Service, Mr. Kayode Ogundele, with immediate effect.
In the same vein, the Governor has approved the appointment of Mr. Bayo Philip as Acting Head of Service, to take immediate effect.
The Governor appreciates Mr. Kayode Ogundele for his service to the State, while also wishing him the best in his future endeavours.

- Govt opens portal for recruitment of health workers
In a significant move aimed at bolstering revenue generation and fostering economic growth in Ondo State, the State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has directed the immediate release of employment letters to successful applicants who participated in the recent recruitment exercise of the Ondo State Internal Revenue Service (ODIRS).
This directive is in line with the state government’s unwavering commitment to youth empowerment, job creation, and overall development of the state.
It would be recalled that the ODIRS conducted a first batch of Computer Based Test (CBT) between in October, 2023, while supplementary CBT of the recruitment exercise was conducted in November, 2023.
As part of the recruitment exercise, shortlisted successful applicants from the CBT proceeded to the oral interview stage which was supervised by a team from Price WaterHouse Coopers (PwC Nigeria) in December, 2023.
Upon submission of their collated reports, Governor Aiyedatiwa directed that the 165 successful applicants be given an offer of employment letters.
Meanwhile, following the approval approval of the Governor, the State Ministry of Health has opened a website for the recruitment of health workers in the State.
