2024 poll: Support Olusola Oke, reject money mongers —Owo/Ose APC leaders urge stakeholders

As the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) prepares to hold its primary to pick the candidate that will fly its flag in the November gubernatorial election, the Olusola Oke Mobilisation and Campaign Committee has charged stakeholders within the party to reject those flaunting money to buy their conscience and peril the fortune of the state after trickily obtaining the ticket of the party.

The group made the appeal at an engagement with stakeholders within APC from Owo and Ose Local Governments. With representatives from the different local government areas, the stakeholders unanimously endorsed the candidacy of Chief Olusola Oke, SAN, noting that it is time for him to be supported to lead the state, after vigorously supporting others in the past.

Noting that Ose is the second home of Oke, whose mother was from there, speakers at the event took turns to speak very gloriously about the different good qualities that make Oke stands out of the pack. They described Oke as someone that possesses the executive, legislative and party administration experiences that would help him relate easily with party members, and ensure the development of Ondo State, when elected.

Members of the Oke Mobilisation and Campaign Committee informed the stakeholders that the decision of Chief Olusola Oke not to commence open campaign was to honour the memory of the immediate past governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu whose burial events are ongoing.

The event witnessed prophetic declarative prayers for the aspiration of Chief Olusola Oke and the leadership of Nigeria,  with the conviction that there shall be a new order in Ondo State very soon, spearheaded by a visionary leader that Oke symbolises.

Party leaders at the event included Chief Osesinbola, Hon Alhaji Yinusa Adeola, Chief Olanitori Monday, Dr. Omotoso Saliu and others.

It would be recalled that APC in Ondo State will hold its primary in April, as the election to elect a new governor holds in November this year.
