The Aiyedatiwa Leadership League, a formidable political support group dedicated to advancing the vision and leadership of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has urged all members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to unite in support of his reelection bid in the upcoming party primary scheduled for April 20, 2024.
At it’s inaugural meeting in Akure, the Convener, of Aiyedatiwa Leadership League, Prince Isaac Busayo Amoye said the incumbent remains the most qualified, having served as deputy governor and even acting governor.
He made fervent calls that APC members in the 203 wards to mobilize support for the governor.
Prince Amoye emphasized the critical importance of ensuring Governor Aiyedatiwa’s victory in the forthcoming primary election, underscoring the need to consolidate and build upon the progress achieved under his leadership.
In his words, “Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has demonstrated unwavering commitment and dedication to the development and prosperity of Ondo State.”
“As members of the APC, it is incumbent upon us to stand united in solidarity behind his candidacy, recognizing his exemplary leadership and tireless efforts to uplift our beloved state”, the Convener added.
The Deputy Convener of the group, Mr. Bode Famose also urged all APC members to wholeheartedly support Governor Aiyedatiwa’s aspirations in the forthcoming primary election.
According to Famose who was the Director of National Orientation Agency in the state, “now is the time for us to demonstrate our unwavering loyalty and dedication to the ideals of the APC”.
“Let us work tirelessly to ensure Governor Aiyedatiwa’s victory, thereby securing the continuity of progress and prosperity for the people of Ondo State, Famose added.
He reaffirmed the commitment the League to advance the aims and objectives of the group, which are deeply rooted in promoting good governance, socioeconomic development, and inclusive leadership under Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa’s stewardship.
As the APC gears up for the primary election on April 20, 2024, the Aiyedatiwa Leadership League extends a passionate appeal to all party members to unite behind Governor Aiyedatiwa to secure a resounding victory and pave the way for a brighter future for Ondo State.
