A section of Social media yesterday evening carried the a news that “BREAKING: A Nigerian Airforce Jet Heading To Orlu Has CRASHED in Akure, Ondo State….”
But a reliable source who a Senior staff of the Nigeria Aviation Authority at Akure Airport confirmed to our report that “there was no (plane) crash in Akure or any part of Ondo State on Monday. I also read the fake news, it is not true.”
When also contacted by SUNSHINETRUTH, a Security agent who preferred to speak anonymously, described the plane crash report as unfounded.
