BARR DARAMOLA ADESUYI CONGRATULATES ONDO REP., HON. ABIOLA MAKINDE AND DR. SEUN OSAMAYE ON THEIR CONFERMENT OF HONORARY AWARDS AS UNIVERSITY FELLOWS BY AFUED
I am using this medium to congratulate a quintessential leader and Member, House of Representatives, representing the good people of Ondo East and West Local Governments, Hon. Dr. Abiola Makinde and an education advocate, Dr. Seun Osamaye on their well deserved conferment of Honorary Award as University Fellows by the Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo in alignment with their numerous contributions and achievements in educational development.
Viewing Hon. Abiola Makinde’s major landmark achievements in education is the facilitation of Ondo City Public Library’s construction and activation for public use and his huge contributions towards the conversion of Adeyemi College of Education to Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo which apart from his community impacts, are everlasting legacies for Ondo Kingdom for generations to come.
Myself, as one of the contributors to education development in Ondo Kingdom through my Foundation, Daramola Adesuyi Foundation (DAF) notably identify with an achiever of enviable stature in person of Hon. Makinde in his annual free distribution of educational materials to primary and post primary schools pupils in Ondo Kingdom alongside awarding scholarships to the deserving indigents and brilliant students as well.
Similarly, Dr. Seun Osamaye who will also be conferred with a University Fellow and distinguished Alumni Award by the same prestigious Adeyemi University of Education in commemoration of the University’s Founder’s Day of the 60th anniversary has done a remarkable feat by building and donating an ultra-modern library to the University.
The proud AFUED Alumna can be described as a champion in educational development and a firm believer of fundamental rights of every student to have access to quality educational resources which necessitated her library donation’s generosity everybody should be proud of.
Among their several impactful successes in educational development, it is my pleasure once again to rejoice with them on their Awards as University Fellow, naming an Avenue within the University after Hon. Abiola Makinde and a distinguished Alumni Award to be conferred on Dr. Seun Osamaye by the same University in recognition of their huge contributions towards the growth of education in Nigeria.
