Senator Ipinsagba Builds Shopping Complex in Oka Akoko, Ready for Commissioning

The Senator representing Ondo North Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator Olajide Ipinsagba, has completed the construction of twenty-eight locked-up shops in Oka Akoko, the headquarters of Akoko South West Local Government Area of Ondo State.

The locked-up shops, according to a statement released to the press by his media aide, Prince Adeyinka Ajagunna, are one of the legacy projects embarked on by Senator Ipinsagba in less than one year in office.

The twenty-eight locked-up shops were embarked on for strictly economic development purposes, as they will cater to all kinds of trades and businesses in the area.

According to Ajagunna, “We have many individuals who want to start up businesses, but the huge amount for shop and business locations becomes a burden. That is why we set up this beautiful edifice for our people at an affordable and accessible location.”

In addition to this project, Senator Ipinsagba is also planning to roll out soft loans for business and market women in the senatorial district for more economic development in all six local government areas in the district. This initiative aims to empower women and support small-scale businesses, promoting economic growth and development in the region.

Aside from trading, the shops were also designed for different apprentices such as barbing saloons, catering shops, hairdressing saloons, tailoring and fashion designs, aluminum fabricators, and more, with enough parking space.

This complex is a one-stop shop for all business needs, providing a conducive environment for entrepreneurs to thrive.

The Senator further advised the people of Oka Akoko to utilize this beautiful opportunity sited in their community judiciously and ensure proper maintenance of the structure.

This project is a testament to Senator Ipinsagba’s commitment to the economic development of his constituents, and it is expected to have a positive impact on the local economy.
