In a heartwarming display of gratitude and celebration of existence, the Former National Chairman of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, Pharmacist (Dr.) Oluwaoromipin Samuel Adekola, marked his 50th birthday in a grand and outstanding style, dedicating the life journey to Almighty God.
Dr Adekola, who is the Chief Executive Officer of His Grace KSP Pharm Ltd, was celebrated by friends, colleagues, and families, who described his existence as a landmark achievement with an exemplary footstep for others to emulate.
The former President of PSN is a Community Pharmacist who provides quality, safe and affordable products to the communities that he serves.
Narrating his life journey, Dr Adekola aka “Ade-K”, said, “My life has been for the glory of God, counting my journey since when I was born. I must thank God that I live to share with friends my testimonies.”
While recounting his achievements, Dr. Adekola, who became the Chairman of the Nigeria Association of Industrial Pharmacists, Ondo State Chapter in 2004- 2006, and Chairman of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria Ondo State chapter in 2009-2015, including Chairman, Association of Professional of Nigeria APBN, Ondo State chapter in 2014-2016, National Vice -Chairman, Association of Community Pharmacist of Nigeria, ACPN, in 2015-2018, National Chairman, Association of Community Pharmacist of Nigeria, ACPN in 2018-2021, appreciated God for his grace shining bright on him.
Dr. Adekola has a lucrative business experience which made him conceptualise and Co-found Sunshine Co-Pharm Ltd where he was managing partner from 2006-2019 and also a board member of the Ondo State Hospital Management Board from 2009-2016.
The birthday celebration featured heartfelt speeches and toasts in honour of Pharm. Adekola, creating unforgettable moments of joy and reflection on cherished memories.
While speaking about the celebrant, Pharm. Muritala Salami, the oldest staff member who had worked with Pharm. Adekola pointed him out as a brave and energetic pharmacist, who believes nothing is impossible.
Pharm. Salami said, “Pharm. Adekola is my boss and leader. I started working with him in 2006 and I left in 2013. I can say he is an energetic and hardworking pharmacist who detests indolence. He is the type who loves hard work. You can not see him associating with someone lazy. And I love him to the point that if he says arise, I could not wait to say O’compatriot.”
The Former commissioner for physical planning and urban development in Ondo state, Pharm. Kunle Asaolu lauded Pharm. Adekola for being a quintessential pharmacist, who is passionate and enthusiastic toward his career.
In his goodwill message, Pharm. Asaolu, who was also one of the past Chairmen of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria in ondo state, encouraged the youth to early set goals and objectives, affirming that the early bird catches the best which characterized Dr. Adekola to be exceptional in his arrangement.
Pharm. Yemisi Akerejola complimented the wonderful pharmacist, calling him a trailblazer who had done luminously well in the capacities he had served, saying Dr. Adekola deserved an honour.
Pharm. Akerejola, in her commendation speech, noted that “Pharm. Adekola has achieved greatly in his pharmaceutical career and various involvements including politics, which has made him to be a public figure in society. I wish him success in his future encounter and I can’t wait to see him flying high.”
Pastor Ola Amuda, in his birthday message to Dr. Adekola, described him as a symbol of integrity, patriotism and spectacular among his associates and showcased the valuable work he does every day.
As the day drew to a close, Pharmacist Adekola expressed gratitude to everyone who had made the birthday celebration so memorable, leaving lasting memories for all who attended.
