Teachers’ Recruitment: Ondo govt clears air on requirements

Press Statement

ODSUBEB REFUTES DEMAND FOR STATE OF ORIGIN CERTIFICATE FOR TEACHERS’ RECRUITMENT

The Ondo State Universal Basic Education Board (ODSUBEB) has been made to be  aware of a false report circulating on social media, alleging that the Board requires applicants seeking teaching positions in public primary schools to present a State of Origin Certificate.

The Board wishes to categorically deny this report, stating that it is a malicious fabrication aimed at exploiting unsuspecting members of the public.

Thorough checks of our documents and those in  public domains reveal no such request for State of Origin Certificates from applicants.

The Board will employ qualified applicants from across the entire country that is both indigen and non indigenes of the state.

The Board disassociates itself and its officers from this fraudulent request and advises successful applicants attending physical interviews starting tomorrow in the North Senatorial District to disregard any demand for a Certificate of State of Origin at the interview centers.

Applicants are required to present original educational qualifications and not Certificate of Origin as stated in the fake report, including birth and primary six leaving certificates, and are expected to arrive early and be orderly for a smooth exercise.
