Hon. Omowunmi, Urgent Call for Restraint: Advises Nigerians Against Protest
The Former Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development in Ondo State and Board Member of the Governing Council, Nigeria Youth Congress, Hon. (Princess) Omowunmi Olatunji-Ohwovoriole, has addressed the youth of Nigeria regarding the planned protest against the government scheduled for tomorrow, saying that the government understands their frustrations and concerns but strongly advises against taking to the streets in protest.
According to Hon. Omowunmi, the safety and well-being of young people are of utmost importance, and any risk of harm or violence must be avoided.
She encouraged the youth, market women, and citizens to explore alternative channels for expressing their grievances and advocating for change.
The Akure Princess reportedly stated that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is committed to listening to their concerns and working towards solutions that benefit all Nigerians.
She expressed confidence in the leadership of Mr. President and the Governor of Ondo State in addressing the issues facing the state and the country at large. She noted that government is working tirelessly to find solutions that will benefit all Nigerians.
She urged Nigerians to work together to build a brighter future for themselves and for generations to come.
