The Ondo State Governor’s Special Adviser on Women Affairs, Dr (Mrs) Seun Osamaye, has commended the Minister of Youth Development, Dr. Jamila Bio Ibrahim, for visiting Akure, the Ondo state capital for a South West Youths Stakeholders Summit to engage the youths amidst nationwide #EndBadGovernance protest.
In a message to the Minister, Dr Osamaye said “It was late in the night yesterday, i heard My Sister, The Honorable Minister of Youths, Dr Jamila Bio Ibrahim was coming on a working visit to Ondo State.
“I knew there is no how i will let her leave without seeing her, even though i was far away down south, i rushed down from Ilaje to Akure to welcome her at the Cocoa Conference Hall of the Governor’s office.
“The pictures suffices for expression of love and sisterhood we both shared. For those who dont know, Dr Jamila was my vice president when i was National President of Progressive Young Women of the APC.
“Together for two years, along with other great young women, we built a solid structure across the country. She thereafter became my successor as president and then, Minister of Youths. Thank you Honourable Minister for visiting Ondo State.
“We have a responsive Governor (Ondo State Governor, Hon Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa) who is deliberate about making lives better for all Ondo young people…, In Ondo State, Our Youths are Lucky!”
