Osun NUJ Chairman mourns as late Dad buried

The burial rites of late Pa. Kazeem Ajadosu, father of the Chairman, Osun State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Comrade Wasiu Ajadosu,has been performed in his home town, Obaagun, Ifelodun Local Government Area of Osun State.


In his sermon after the interment on Sunday morning, Chief Imaam, Obaagun, Alhaji Abass Shittu described death as inevitable.


While noting death is the end of everyone on earth enjoined those who are still alive to know that death will come unexpectedly.

Alhaji Shittu,who admonished everyone to have a self-assessment of their sojourn while still alive encouraged the living to always endeavor to do what is right in the face of Allah as contained in the Holy Quran.

The Chief Imaam of Obaagun disclosed after graveside prayers for the late Kazeem Ajadosu that whatever deeds one does shall attract rewards, whether positive or negative.


He described the deceased as a devoted Muslim and committed community leader, who contributed his quotas to the development of humanity.


While praying for the family left behind for the fortitude to bear the unexpected loss of patriarch of the family enjoined to be moderate in the celebration of life and death of their loving father.


The burial program was attended from far and near, including family members, friends,well wishers and members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Osun State Council.

Speaking shortly after the sermon,one of the children of the deceased, Comrade Wasiu Ajadosu described his late dad as loving and lover of his family, who dedicated his entire life for their well being, saying the vacuum created by his death will be difficult to fill.


The late Pa.Kazeem Ajadosu was survived by Children, Grand Children, Great Grand Children and family members. He was 70 years old.
