Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria, applauds Aiyedatiwa over new Perm. Sec, minimum wage

The Ondo State Branch Chairman of the Association of Senior Civil servants of Nigeria (ASCSN), Comrade Samuel Musa, has commended Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa on the recent appointment of four new Permanent Secretaries.

He also commended the decision of the Governor to implement the new minimum wage of N70,000.

In a Press Statement, Comrade Musa also lauded the choice of the new appointees, believing that they will boost civil service to achieve set-goals.

The Governor of Ondo State, Hon Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, had on August 16, 2024, approved the appointment of the four Permanent Secretaries and Tutors-General in the public service

The Permanent Secretaries are; 1. Yemi Pirisola; 2. Idowu Ojo; 3. Olaleye Philip and 4. Mudashiru Adegbegha; while the Tutors-General are; 1. Adebayo Ajimuda – North; 2. Owoka Adedamilola (Mrs.) – Central and 3. Dr. Akanke Idowu Asogbon (Mrs.) – South

The Governor said the appointments take immediate effect.

Reacting, the Chairman of the Association, said Governor Aiyedatiwa had shown clearly that he loves a working civil service and he is workers-friendly leader.

Comrade Samuel Musa charged the new permanent secretaries to justify the confidence reposed in them by the Governor by serving the good people of Ondo State diligently.

“This shows that Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa is a workers’ friendly and prioritize the welfare of the citizenry in the state.

“It’s equally clear that Our friendly Governor and Man of the people will commence the payment of the new minimum wage soon,” Comrade Musa said.
