Arogbo Ijaw LCDA Team visits Kekemeke

The Chairman transition Committee of the Arogbo Ijaw Local Council Development Area Chief Ebi Molos and members of his team on Monday 19th August, 2024 paid a courtesy call on Hon. D.I. Kekemeke the National Vice Chairman/Chairman Southwest of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at his law office in Akure the Ondo State capital.

The team included the Vice Chairman Hon. Jemi Samuel.

The LCDA Chairman, Chief Molos said that the purpose of their visit was to come and pay their respect to their leader and to solicit support for a successful tenure.

He appealed to the National Vice Chairman as the topmost leader to rally other leaders in the LCD Area to give total victory to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa in the November governorship election.

He believes that once this is done our area will give the best result to the party.

While responding, Hon. D.I. Kekemeke thanked them for the honour done him and applauded the Chairman and members of his team for their activities since Inauguration.

The National Vice Chairman promised to lend them his hands of support whenever requested.

As for the All Progressives Congress (APC) the National Vice Chairman stated that as the highest party office holder in the State, he remains committed to it’s victory in the forth coming November election; adding that Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa and Dr. Olayide Adelami as the undisputed governorship and deputy governorship candidates of the party respectively, must win the election.

On insinuation that the National Vice Chairman has not been visible in the campaign, Kekemeke stated that contrary to that perception, he has directed all his supporters as well as his political friends and associates to work hard for the party APC and its candidates (Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa) stating that he needs not change his surname to “Odatiwa” to impress cynics.

He urged all party men and women, young and old to do more of one-to-one campaign in their polling units rather than engaging in self promoting activities on social media.

Adapting Kamala Harris, the US Vice President and Democratic Party candidate’s statement, Kekemeke concluded that this is an election for the APC to win and the PDP to lose.
