The recent spate of killings within our beloved constituency has left us heartbroken and deeply concerned. The brutal killings of innocent citizens, most recently another tragic death along the Arigidi-Okeagbe road, is a deplorable act that we must all come together to address.

Hon. Ifeoluwa Ehindero, Deputy Chairman, House Committee on Reformatory Institutions, and Member representing Akoko Northeast and Northwest Federal Constituency, strongly condemns these senseless acts of violence and expresses deep sympathy to the families affected. He asserts that immediate action must be taken to address the rising insecurity within our constituency.

It is unacceptable that our people are living in fear, and we cannot allow this to continue. I demand that immediate steps be taken to apprehend those responsible for these brutal killings and to ensure the safety of our communities,” Hon. Ifeoluwa Ehindero said.

Hon. Ifeoluwa assures the people of Akoko North Federal Constituency that his office is working closely with the state government and relevant state security agencies, including the Ondo State Police Command, Amotekun Corps, and other local authorities, to ensure that the perpetrators of these heinous crimes are apprehended and brought to justice without delay. His office is committed to facilitating collaboration among security agencies and stakeholders to restore calm and prevent further acts of violence in the constituency.

In addition, Hon. Ehindero urges the traditional rulers, political leaders, community stakeholders, and the youths of Akoko North Federal Constituency to work closely together in combating these issues.
