GOVERNOR AIYEDATIWA COMMISERATES WITH ONDO PDP ON DEATH OF CHAIRMAN, FATAI ADAMS
Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, commiserates with the leadership and members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State, over the demise of their Chairman, Hon. Fatai Adams.
The Governor describes the late Adams as a complete gentleman who as a leader of opposition in the State played politics without bitterness and as a member of the State House of Assembly contributed his quota to the development of the State.
Governor Aiyedatiwa describes the death of Adams as a great loss to the political family, the people of Irun Akoko, Akoko North West and Ondo State.
The Governor commiserates
with his family and prays for God to grant them the fortitude to bear the loss.

Interior Minister expresses shock over death of Ondo PDP Chair
The Minister of Interior, Hon. (Dr.) Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo has described the death of the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ondo state, Honorable Fatai Adams as an irreparable loss to the state.
Fatai Adams was confirmed dead at a private hospital in Akure, the Ondo state capital, on Wednesday.
Tunji-Ojo, in a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media, Babatunde Alao, said the late politician would be missed for his impacts in the state and beyond.
The statement reads: “I received with great shock, the death of my Egbon and the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ondo state, Honorable Fatai Adams. This is a huge loss to Ondo state and its people.
“While alive, Fatai Adams was a member of the Ondo state House of Assembly and he served our state meritoriously. He made lots of impactful contributions during his lifetime to the growth and development of Ondo state.
“I commiserate with the people of Irun Akoko and Ondo at large. I pray that God will grant him eternal rest and also give his family, friends and associates the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.”

Hon Festus Akingbaso ‘Fessywest’, the MHR, representing Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency and incidentally the only member of the Federal House of Representatives from the PDP in the Ondo State has taken to the Press to mourn the passing away of the state Party Chairman, Hon Fatai Adams who passed away.
He described him as a dutiful party chairman and great party person who until his demise earlier today, 14th February 2024 was an enigmatic and pragmatic party leader.
He prayed for the repose of the deceased soul and the fortitude to bear the replaceable loss of a faithful party chairman and leader who spent his quality time seeking the growth of the Country at large.
He called for a three-day mourning of the deceased, saying he had paid for his dues in terms of development, and urges the people left behind to follow suit.
He said his death was a huge loss to everyone and it couldn’t be comprehended because the nation currently needs men like Hon. Adams to rebuild the country now.
