The Acting Chief Medical Director of the University of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital, Laje Road, Ondo City, Dr. Michael Olumide Gbala, has announced the launch of the institution’s peer-reviewed journal aimed at disseminating medical research findings from scientists worldwide.
The journal is titled Annals of Clinical and Biomedical Science Research (ACBSR),available at https://acbsr.unimedthc.org/index.php/home with an editorial team comprising reviewers, experienced authors, and researchers from medical facilities, Universities and research centers globally.
This journal aspires to be a prominent platform for disseminating scientific breakthroughs and to further promote the institution’s core mandates of clinical services, training, and research.
Research is a critical tool for strengthening medical services and education, with the potential to increase the hospital’s global visibility and attract research grants. These benefits can significantly support infrastructure and capacity development within the institution. Research findings are also veritable tools for influencing policy change towards better healthcare of a nation.
