Ologbese congratulates Aiyedatiwa, says his victory is triumph of democracy

The Director General of Advocacy for Good Governance, Otunba Dele Ologbese, has congratulated Ondo State Governor,
Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa over his landslides victory on Saturday’s gubernatorial poll.

Ologbese described the outcome of the election as a triumph of democracy and good governance in Ondo State, nay Nigeria.

The Akoko South West born APC stalwart, in a chat with newsmen in Akure, the state capital on Monday, posited that Governor Aiyedatiwa is a man of the people and harbinger of hope who has come to deliver the impoverished masses of Ondo State from their economic hardships.

He added that the Governor’s electoral victory on Saturday attests vividly to his popularity and widest acceptance by the populace who gave him their overwhelming support to continue in office for another four years in order to complete his impactful programmes.

The public communicator praised the efforts of Independent Electoral Commission (INEC), for conducting a peaceful, free, fair, and transparent election in ondo State, stressing that with this impressive feat of unbiased umpire, participatory democracy is fast gaining footholds in our political space.

The retired bureaucrat admonished oppositions to urgently put their loses behind them and rally round Governor Aiyedatiwa in administering the state on thresholds of peace, unity, progress and developments

His words, “I joined millions of APC faithful and admirers worldwide in celebrating the victory of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa in the Saturday’s governorship’s election in Ondo State.

His triumph in the election was a victory for democracy and good governance in ondo State and in Nigeria, which further confirms his astuteness as a grassroots politician and the most credible candidate with best credentials and blueprints in rescuing the citizenry from want, poverty, penury, neglect and indignity

“Governor Aiyedatiwa has competently showcased his peoples’ oriented agenda, encapsulated in his manifesto before electorates in the course of his extensive electioneering campaigns

He indeed hasn’t waited in delivering his electoral promises to his people through his good deeds in office prior to the
election, which soundly underscores genuineness of his uncommon urge in improving the lots of the downtrodden.

“I give passmark to Ondo State INEC for conducting or overseeing a free, fair, peaceful, and transparent election in the state which gave strong hope and assurances that participatory democracy is fast gaining footholds in our polity.

“Now that election has come and gone, I admonished the opposition in the spirit of good sportsmanship to embrace the winner and rally around him in making Ondo State attain monumental peace, progress, and unprecedented developments”, he concluded.
