The Chairman of Irekari LCDA, Hon.(Prince) Adekunle Dennis has described the Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa as an excellent administrator and a consummate politician.
Prince Adekunle said this in a congratulatory message to the governor on his Inauguration for another four years term in office.
According to the Irekari LCDA boss, ” Sir, your gentle look and reserved nature are your greatest weapon. You always wear a placid face that masks your intellect, quick thinking and probing mind to the point that, your opponents have been outwitted by your razor-sharp mind and sound judgement on any issues.”
Unequivocally, you have dazed your political rivals with legendary physical projects and novel administrative policies that cannot be forgotten in a hurry.
Your achievements in the following areas – Renovation of nearly 1000 block of classrooms in public primary schools across the state
- Approval of N1.2billion for the completion of the abandoned projects at Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology Okitipupa,
- Payment of N335million scholarship and bursary allowance for all ONDO state students in tertiary institutions, expansion of tourism centre Araromi Sea side, – – Setting aside. 2,000 hectares of land per district for food production
- Unveiling new Investment House in Akure
- Road construction and rehabilitation across the state
- Clearing of waterways and distribution of life jackets in the coastal communities have all made you an architect of modern Ondo State.
While Prince Adekunle is proud of the above achievements within a period of one and half years, it is his hope that the new administration will usher in more window of opportunities for the people especially at the rural communities Adekunle concluded.
