HON ADE ADEOGUN DISSOLVES ADVISORY COUNCIL, RECONSTITUTION OF AIDES TO FOLLOW AFTER TWO YEARS OF SERVICE.
The Advisory Council, a committee of elders drawn across the twenty six wards that make up Akoko South East and South West Federal Constituency which was saddled with the responsibilities of providing guidance, reviewing policies and plans has been dissolved with immediate effect.
Hon Ade Adeogun appreciates those who have served as members of the dissolved council.
While thanking them sincerely for putting in their best to serve humanity with their useful pieces of advice, resources and God’s given wisdom, he notes with a heart of gratitude that despite not being a remunerated position, the members of the dissolved committee rendered good counsel, guidance and provided leadership for the upliftment of our Federal Constituency.
May their labour of love never be in vain. The council will be reconstituted to enable it carry on with its laudable roles soon.
In the same manner, the reconstitution of aides will follow after wide consultations with leaders of our great party and other stakeholders in our Federal Constituency.
This is to enable us take further steps to strengthen the unity now enjoyed by our party, inject fresh blood and give others who contributed to the success of our party in 2019 an opportunity to serve too.
Recall that Hon Ade Adeogun appointed about 85 aides two years ago in order to reward loyalty as well as reduce the burden of service to our people. Given the number of our party members and supporters, it is impossible to offer paid appointments to all, but Hon. Adeogun is determined to continually take steps to expand the pool of beneficiaries through appointments and robust empowerment programs.
