COMMENDATION TO HIS EXCELLENCY, HON. LUCKY ORIMISAN AIYEDATIWA, ON THE APPROVAL OF N633M WAEC REGISTRATION FEES FOR ONDO STATE STUDENTS
On behalf of the entire JNC SEC members and workforce in Ondo State, I extend our heartfelt appreciation to His Excellency, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for his compassionate and visionary leadership in approving the sum of N633,918,000.00 for the payment of WAEC registration fees for 23,048 secondary school students in public schools across the state.
This remarkable gesture is not just an investment in the future of our children but also a great relief to thousands of parents and guardians, especially in these economically challenging times. By ensuring that no eligible student is denied the opportunity to sit for this crucial examination due to financial constraints, Mr. Governor has demonstrated his deep commitment to education, human capital development, and equal opportunities for all.
The OUR-EASE policy thrust of this administration continues to yield meaningful impact in the lives of the people of Ondo State, and this latest intervention further reaffirms His Excellency’s dedication to the welfare of the masses.
We, the labour leaders, commend this laudable initiative and encourage the Governor to sustain his administration’s progressive policies that prioritize education, workers’ welfare, and economic empowerment. We, as labour leaders and workers, stand in solidarity with the government in its quest for a better and more prosperous Ondo State.
