The Majority Leader of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Oluwole Emmanuel Ogunmolasuyi (West), has been honoured with a prestigious award from D’MEN CLUB OWO in recognition of his unwavering commitment to youth empowerment, employment generation, and mentorship in Owo and beyond. The award acknowledges his dedication to fostering opportunities that have positively impacted the lives of young people in the community.
The grand award ceremony was held at Upenmen Town Hall, Upenmen Owo, and attracted a distinguished gathering of traditional rulers, political figures, and community stakeholders. The event was graced by the Royal Father of the Day, Oba Ebenezer Adewumi Ogunmolasuyi, the Olupenmen of Upenmen Land, who praised the recipients for their invaluable contributions to the growth and development of Owo and Ondo State.
In his acceptance speech, Hon. Ogunmolasuyi expressed heartfelt gratitude to D’MEN CLUB OWO for the recognition, stating that the award motivates him to continue his efforts in empowering the youth, supporting local businesses, and advocating policies that foster development in Owo. He emphasised the importance of mentorship in shaping the future of young individuals and reiterated his commitment to initiatives that create employment opportunities.
He further highlighted his legislative work, prioritising economic growth, education, and social welfare, noting that empowering young people remains a key aspect of his vision for a prosperous Owo. He also used the opportunity to appreciate the Royal Father, Oba Ebenezer Adewumi Ogunmolasuyi, and other dignitaries present for their continuous support in the region’s development.
The President and Founder of D’MEN CLUB OWO, Chief Friday Adebayo, commended Hon. Ogunmolasuyi for his impact-driven leadership and described him as a role model for aspiring young leaders. He stressed the importance of recognising individuals who have contributed significantly to society and urged all awardees to remain steadfast in their service to the people.
