Another Defection has hit the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, as Party held their NEC meeting to address the political crises rocking the leading opposition party in Nigeria.
A member, House of Representatives and 2024 deputy governorship candidate in Ondo State, Hon. Festus Olanrewaju Akingbaso, from the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, has joined the Ruling All Progressives Congress APC.
Akingbaso, the Member representing Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency of Ondo State, defection was announced in the floor of the House during Plenary by the Speaker House of Representatives Dr Abbas Tajudeen.
Akingbaso popularly known as “Fessywest” cited internal crises in the People’s Democratic Party PDP as reason for his defection.
