SSANIP HAILS APPOINTMENT OF PROFESSOR AJIBEFUN AS COMMISSIONER FOR EDUCATION – Applause to Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for making a right choice
The Senior Staff Association of Nigeria Polytechnics (SSANIP) Rufus Giwa Polytechnic Owo ,Chapter hails the appointment of the former Rector of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic Owo, Professor Igbekele Ajibefun as the Commissioner of Education in Ondo- State.
The Union commends the Executive Governor of Ondo state Dr. (Hon) Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for making a right choice. The appointment is no doubt a round peg in a round hole.
It is also noted that for a while, the educational sector in Ondo- State was not lucky to have a shrewd educationist and an astute administrator like Professor Ajibefun to occupy the seat of the Commissioner for Education.
Professor Igbekele Ajibefun is an astute academic and a foremost educationist with an esteemed reputation based on his pedigree and outstanding experience on educational matters.
Professor Ajibefun has a flowing and shinning historic achievement as a former Rector of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic Owo and as the former Vice Chancellor of Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba Akoko, with a sound cognate expertise in handling issues on educational administration .
SSANIP is highly excited with the choice of Professor lgbekele Ajibefun and having had a working relationship with him, SSANIP has much Confidence in his delivery capacity .
Professor Igbekele Ajibefun will always be an asset to the system. and for his acquired knowledge, administrative acumen and Competence, we are sure of his capacity to reposition the educational sector and enhance the image of Ondo – State on educational advancement.
SSANIP wishes professor Igbekele Ajibefun the best and pray to God to give him sound health and peace of mind to deliver on this important assignment.
