CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE TO ALL NEWLY SWORN‑IN COMMISSIONERS
On behalf of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Ondo State Chapter, we heartily extend our warmest congratulations to all the newly sworn‑in Honourable Commissioners who have been graciously appointed to serve in the Executive Council of Ondo State.
This is indeed a historic moment for each of you, as well as for the entire state, because your appointments are a testament to your proven integrity, competence, and unwavering commitment to public service.
We celebrate your ascension to these exalted offices and acknowledge the rigorous process through which you have emerged as part of the team that will chart the course of development in Ondo State.
ALGON, as the umbrella body of all local government chairmen in Ondo State, deeply appreciates the significance of your roles as Commissioners. Your portfolios represent the various lifelines of governance—health, education, agriculture, infrastructure, women affairs, environment, finance, youth development, information, and others—each crucial to the socio‑economic growth of our people. We therefore see your emergence as a clarion call to service, innovation, and transformational leadership.
We are confident that your wealth of experience and diverse backgrounds will add tremendous value to the administration of His Excellency the Governor. As local government chairmen, we know firsthand the importance of strong collaboration between state ministries and the grassroots structures of governance.
We look forward to working closely with each of you to ensure that policies and programs are not only crafted in boardrooms but are also effectively implemented in every ward and community, reaching the people who need them the most.
ALGON urges you to see your appointment nothing merely as an opportunity for personal advancement, but as a solemn responsibility to uplift the lives of the citizens who placed their trust in our government.
