A chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Chief Oluwaseyi Gabriel Ogundare, has commended the Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for his exemplary wisdom and foresight in the appointment and portfolio assignment of the newly inaugurated commissioners.
According to him, the Governor’s deliberate effort to match each commissioner with a ministry aligned to their professional strength and area of competence reflects a strategic, visionary approach to governance; a round peg in a round hole.
Hon. OGO noted that for the first time in a long while, Ondo State has witnessed a thoughtful alignment of talent, experience, and leadership capacity with critical sectors of development.
He emphasized that this strategic deployment will not only enhance productivity across the ministries but also fast-track the implementation of the administration’s development blueprint. “Governor Aiyedatiwa has once again proven that he is not just building a government, but building a legacy that works,” he said.
He particularly applauded the Governor for breaking the jinx in the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development by appointing an agile, vibrant, and widely accepted youth to head the ministry, a move that has sparked excitement across the state. “This is a bold and progressive statement from Mr. Governor — that the future belongs to the youth, and the time to empower them is now,” Hon. OGO affirmed. With this blend of experience and youthful energy in the cabinet, he stated confidently that Ondo State is on the right path toward sustainable growth, inclusion, and long-term prosperity.
Hon. OGO further applauded the recent skill development centre recently commissioned by Gov. Aiyedatiwa, Ogundare said this will further boost youth empowerment and Job creation in the state.
