
The Ondo State chapter of the Federation of Muslim Women’s Associations in Nigeria (FOMWAN) is set to host this year’s Zonal Youth Conference from August 7th to 10th, 2025. The three-day event will take place at Khadob International College, situated along Owo Express Road in Oba-Ile, Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State.
Delegates from across the South-West zone—including Ekiti, Oyo, Osun, Kwara, Ogun, Ondo, and Lagos States—are expected to arrive on Thursday, August 7, to commence the event.
The opening ceremony will be held on Friday, August 8, with a keynote lecture by Dr. Olamide Muhammed on the conference theme: “Empowered Voices, Green Choices.” Additional sessions will feature discussions on sub-themes such as “Transforming Challenges into Opportunities” and “Making Responsible Choices in a Digital Era.”

As part of the conference activities, delegates will pay visits to the Ondo State Radiovision Corporation (OSRC), The Hope newspaper, and the State Public Service Training Institute (PSTI), where they will undergo training on digital responsibility.
The event will also feature a variety of engaging activities including health talks, Qur’an recitations, and a social night, among others.
