ONDO WOMEN AFFAIRS COMMISSIONER DR. SEUN OSAMAYE FELICITATES GOV LUCKY AIYEDATIWA’S VICTORY AT APPEAL COURT
The Commissioner for Women Affairs &Social Development, Dr. Seun Osamaye, has extended her warmest congratulations to Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and Deputy Governor Dr. Olayide Adelami on their resounding victory at the Court of Appeal in Akure.
The appellate court unanimously dismissed appeals filed by opposition parties, including the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), African Democratic Congress (ADC), Allied People’s Movement (APM), and Social Development Party (SDP), challenging the outcome of the November 16, 2024 governorship election
Dr. Osamaye described the judgment as an evidence to the legitimacy and popularity of Governor Aiyedatiwa’s administration, of 18:0 at the poll, reaffirming the trust reposed in him by the people of Ondo State.
“The verdict is a clear indication of the people’s confidence in Governor Aiyedatiwa’s leadership,” she stated.
Dr. Osamaye commended Governor Aiyedatiwa’s leadership, highlighting his commitment to the welfare of women and children, as well as his significant infrastructural strides in the state.
“I want to congratulate the Governor of our state, Odatiwa, Odirorun, Dr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, his deputy, Dr. Olayide Adelami, and the entire All Progressives Congress (APC) family on this milestone, Osamaye stated.
The Women Affairs Commissioner expressed optimism that Governor Aiyedatiwa’s administration will continue to usher in prosperity and sustainable development for the people of Ondo State.
She praised the Governor’s dedication to empowering women and promoting their welfare, which has been a hallmark of his administration.
