Ògo Àkúré Mandate Group Hosts Inaugural Town Hall – Applauds The Renewed Hope Agenda of Government
The Ògo Àkúré Mandate Group (ÒAMG), a fast-rising political and development-oriented movement in Ondo State, has successfully hosted its inaugural town hall meeting in Akure.
The gathering drew wide participation and representation from all political wards across Akure South and North Local Government Areas, reflecting the group’s grassroots appeal and growing influence.
During the meeting, the group commended Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, for her remarkable contributions to advancing President Bola Tinubu’s transformation agenda. In particular, ÒAMG applauded her recent empowerment of hundreds of women in Ondo State through business grants and entrepreneurship initiatives aimed at making families self-reliant, uplifting communities, and strengthening the broader economy.
The Convener of ÒAMG, Comrade Ayodeji DF. Oluleye who was represented by the Director General of the group, Hon. Olufisayo Faleye, described the First Lady’s initiatives as unique, impactful, and timely, stressing that empowering women directly translates into stronger families, vibrant communities, and a more resilient economy.
Comrade Oluleye further assured residents of Akure and Ondo State that Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa’s administration is committed to implementing forward-looking policies that will deliver lasting socio-economic growth. He urged citizens to support the government’s inclusive governance model while embracing civic responsibility to make Akure a model city among Nigeria’s urban centres.
He emphasized ÒAMG readiness to engage transport workers, traders, artisans, youths, and the diaspora community through regular grassroots dialogues and empowerment programs designed to complement government efforts.
“Akure has the potential to shine among Nigeria’s foremost cities. Together, we must build on our ancient heritage and work collectively to transform our city for generations to come,” Oluleye said.
Also speaking at the event, Dr. Lanrewaju-Great commended the passion and mission of Comrade Oluleye, describing Ogo Akure mandate group as a visionary group with a workable plans of transforming the lives of the people of Ondo state and Nigeria at large.
The group also applauded Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for his inclusive leadership style and called on the youths of Ondo State to seize the many business and empowerment initiatives rolled out by the government to improve their livelihoods and contribute to society at large.
