….I’ve Delivered On My Campaign Promises —Ondo Assembly Member Declares

Stakeholders and leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ifedore Local Government Area on Monday gathered for a meeting that recorded a large turnout from the 10 wards in the constituency.
The meeting provided an opportunity for the member representing Ifedore Constituency at the Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Tope Komolafe, to outline his achievements within his two years in office.
He explained that his representation has yielded tangible results across several sectors. According to him, 20 industrial sewing machines worth ₦1 million each were distributed to tailors in Ifedore, while 100 small-scale business owners received grants of ₦50,000 each.
In addition, 20 laptops valued at ₦500,000 each were given to youths to enhance their engagement in information and communication technology. He also facilitated scholarships for three Ifedore students at the university level, covering tuition, accommodation, and feeding, with each scholarship worth ₦3 million.
Komolafe further stated that 50 solar-powered street lights were installed in towns and villages across Ifedore. He also facilitated employment opportunities for more than 10 indigenes of Ifedore in state and federal agencies and paid ₦2.5 million for the repair of abandoned boreholes in Ifedore Local Government.
He added that he had hosted the council of Obas in Ifedore on behalf of the APC at a cost of ₦2 million, reached out to the Muslim community with interventions worth ₦1.8 million, and consistently supported party members during festive seasons and on request.
The lawmaker also emphasized that he has fulfilled his promise of periodic engagements with APC leaders and stakeholders, with meetings costing ₦5 million over two years.
In recognition of these interventions, the APC leadership in Ifedore, which included the party chairman, secretary, and other leaders present, passed a vote of confidence on Hon. Komolafe for his performance in office.
The motion was moved by Hon. Idowu Adebusuyi, Chief Whip of the Ondo State House of Assembly Forum, and seconded by High Chief Abuloye Banji, Esq.
The leaders appreciated Gov Lucky Ayedatiwa for the approval of 5 kilometres of road in Ifedore and promised to remain under his leadership for exceptional performance. They also praised Hon. Komolafe for keeping faith with his promises, describing his stewardship as a reflection of responsive and accountable representation. Distinguish leaders at the meeting includes:
