The Honourable Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Dr Seun Osamaye, has urged the Women Special Assistants to the Ondo State Governor from Akure South Local Government to remain steadfast, dedicated, and united in fulfilling their responsibilities across their respective wards, in line with Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa’s electoral commitments.
Speaking during a courtesy visit by the group to her office in Akure, Ondo State Capital, Dr. Osamaye described their appointments as a divine call to service, emphasizing that it was not by personal merit but by God’s grace.
Dr Osamaye expressed gratitude to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for the privilege of serving in his administration and called on the Women SAs to partner closely with her ministry to deliver on the governor’s mandates to the people.
The Women Affairs Commissioner highlighted that the ministry’s empowerment initiatives and interventions have been made possible through the governor’s unwavering support and interest in women Empowerment and development.
Dr. Osamaye noted that Governor Aiyedatiwa has vowed to ensure no woman in Ondo State suffers neglect or degradation, a promise she is fulfilling through timely approvals for women-focused programs.
She commended the delegation for the visit and assured them of continued collaboration in future ministry activities.
In their remarks, the Women Special Assistants expressed appreciation to the governor for their appointments and praised his administration’s impactful programs benefiting women across the state.
The women also lauded Dr. Osamaye’s leadership appealed for greater inclusion in the ministry’s upcoming initiatives.
