
Ògo Àkúré Mandate Group Condoles with Families of Victims of Ala Igbatoro Tragedy, Commends Security Efforts and Calls for Sustained Community Safety
The Ògo Àkúré Mandate Group has expressed deep sympathy over the unfortunate incident involving the loss of three farmers at Ala Igbatoro, Akure North Local Government Area, describing it as a painful occurrence that calls for continued collective vigilance and cooperation in ensuring community safety.
In a statement issued in Akure, the Convener of the Group, Hon. Ayodeji DF Oluleye, commiserated with the bereaved families and the people of Ala Igbatoro community, praying for comfort and peace in this difficult time.
“We are deeply saddened by the incident at Ala Igbatoro. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and community affected. We commend the efforts of security operatives and local authorities who have responded promptly and are making progress in ensuring justice is served,” Hon. Oluleye stated.
He further encouraged residents of Akure North and neighbouring communities to continue supporting security agencies through timely information sharing and community cooperation.

“Security is a shared responsibility. We must all remain united, vigilant, and proactive in safeguarding our communities. The safety of our farmers and rural dwellers is central to our food security and collective well-being,” he added.
Hon. Oluleye reaffirmed the commitment of the Ògo Àkúré Mandate Group to supporting peacebuilding, youth empowerment, and rural development initiatives that promote harmony and security across Akure North and Akure South.
The Group also extended appreciation to the Ondo State Government, local security networks, and traditional rulers for their continued dedication to peace and rural safety.
