ONDO STATE FOR TINUBU 2027 ELDERS MOVEMENT
OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE
The APC Elders Forum, following an extensive review of Ondo State’s population data, the current register of voters, and the results of the last five elections in the State, has concluded that, with robust voter registration drives and sustained voter education, Ondo State can deliver not less than 1.5 million votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general election. This estimate is commensurate with the current number of registered voters in the state.
This position aligns with the strategic plan and executive directive of the Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, titled “ONDO FOR TINUBU 2027.” In keeping with that alignment, the Steering Committee of the Ondo State Elders Forum, chaired by Pa. Senator Farokanmi, convened the Elders Forum under the name “ONDO STATE FOR TINUBU 2027 ELDERS MOVEMENT,” with Chief Jamiu Jimoh Afolabi Ekungba FCA (Ekon Odo-Agbata of Owo Land) serving as Chairman.
The Movement has received formal written approval dated the 25th of August 2025 from His Excellency, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, authorizing:
- Use of the name “ONDO FOR TINUBU 2027 ELDERS MOVEMENT”; and
- Use of His Excellency’s campaign office at 12 Oyemekun road Akure as the State Secretariat. Executive Working Committee

- The ONDO STATE FOR TINUBU 2027 ELDERS MOVEMENT welcomes all citizens — young and old, women and men — to join in a concerted effort to mobilize Ondo State and deliver an unprecedented vote for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027. Support may be offered in any lawful and constructive form.
- As elders, we shall not engage in or be drawn into any type of competition with any person, association or organisation, nor will we tolerate tactics intended to provoke or divide membership of our political party APC into factions and rivalry groups
- The public is hereby informed that there is only ONE officially recognized Elders Movement operating under the Governor’s “ ONDO FOR TINUBU 2027 ” executive directive. Any other group or individual using the name or related terms without authorization is impersonating this movement and acts without the endorsement of the Governor or this Committee.
