Ondo Youths Launch 2027 Campaign Group, Promise Landslide Reelection Victory for President Tinubu in the State
Young citizens from Ondo State have announced the formation of a new political support platform dedicated to advancing the 2027 reelection bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The group, known as the Ondo Youth Alliance for Tinubu (OYAT), is a coalition comprising multiple youth associations, organisations, and clusters across the state. It is positioned to lead mobilisation efforts and secure overwhelming support from young voters residing in Ondo State.
Speaking to newsmen on Monday, the Group Director General, Thalis Olonite Apalowo, assured President Tinubu of a total sweep of youth votes in the state. He stated that the president has “set Nigeria on the path to greatness” through bold and transformative reforms addressing long-standing national challenges.
“In less than two years, young Nigerians have witnessed significant steps taken to end petroleum subsidies and stabilise the foreign exchange system. Access to higher education has been made easier through the student loan initiative. Today, more young people—especially in Ondo State—are establishing small and medium enterprises, which remain the backbone of every thriving economy. The achievements are numerous,” Apalowo said.
He added that the best way to appreciate these efforts is to ensure President Tinubu’s return to office in 2027.
“We will deploy our collective strength, mobilisation capacity, grassroots networks, organisational structure, communication channels, and every available resources to guarantee his reelection,” he affirmed.
OYAT is sponsored and supported by Hon. (Dr.) Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, Minister of Interior and a proud indigene of Ondo State. The group will prioritise key youth-focused issues, including access to economic opportunities and empowerment.
While commending Dr. Tunji-Ojo for his generosity and commitment to expanding opportunities for young Nigerians, Apalowo described him as a leading champion of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
“When the Honourable Minister assumed office, he moved quickly into action. Over 200,000 passport backlogs were cleared. The introduction of e-gates eased airport traffic and reduced human contact—an important step in curbing corruption. A new Data Control Centre and several innovative reforms across agencies under the Ministry have also been delivered,” he noted.
As part of its broader engagement plan, OYAT will convene policy dialogues, reform-centred conversations, town hall summits, and community development projects across the state, working with thousands of Ondo youths and residents.
