In a grand and colourful ceremony held on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at the residence of Pastor Femi Agagu at Iju-Odo in Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State, Olabode Omoyele, illustrious son of the community and Lagos-based real estate developer, carried out an empowerment programme valued at over ₦100 million for residents of the local government.
The event, which drew dignitaries, party leaders, community members, and beneficiaries from far and wide, featured the distribution of essential support items including:1000 10kg bags of rice and 10000 naira cash presentation to 1000 widows, 1000 spraying pumps to farmers, 1000 bottles of herbicides to farmers, 50,000 naira cash presentation to 200 youths, 50,000 naira cash presentation to 50 men and another 50,000 naira cash to 100 women. Over 1000 cutlasses were also shared to farmers.
Olabode Omoyele, founder of the Olabode Humanitarian Foundation and notable chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), is also a prominent member of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Continuity Project in Ondo State. His philanthropic gesture once again reaffirmed his commitment to community development, grassroots empowerment, and support for the vulnerable.
A major highlight of the event was the official launch of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Continuity Project in Ondo State, led by its Director-General, Pastor Femi Agagu, former Commissioner for Education and former Chief of Staff to the late Governor Olusegun Agagu.

Afolabi Iwalewa, former Member, Ondo State House of Assembly, Dr Mrs Morenike Alaka former Chairman of Okitipupa local government council and several other prominent party leaders.
Beneficiaries of the empowerment expressed overwhelming gratitude and showered prayers on Olabode Omoyele for his uncommon generosity and his consistent efforts to uplift the living standards of the people, especially farmers, youths, widows, and the less privileged.
Speaking with pressmen at the event, Olabode Omoyele noted that the empowerment initiative was born out of his passion for community development and his desire to create meaningful impact in the lives of people across Okitipupa LGA.
Mr Olabode also specifically lauded the superlative performance of the Honourable Minister of Interior Hon Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo and also thanked him for his immeasurable contribution to the campaign for the reelection of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Ondo State.
He noted that Hon Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo has continued to work relentlessly via various platforms such as the Asiwaju Mandate Group and PBAT Continuity Project in Ondo State to ensure that the good works of the Mr President continue beyond 2027.
He also added that the empowerment initiative is a strategic move to support the good work of Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“This initiative is driven by my commitment to making life better for our people, particularly the vulnerable. We must continue to support one another to build a stronger and more prosperous community,” he said.
The empowerment programme remains one of the most impactful community interventions in recent times within Okitipupa Local Government. It reinforces Olabode Omoyele’s reputation as a compassionate leader, humanitarian, and advocate for inclusive development.
