The Management of FUTA Teaching Hospital, Akure, has issued a new directive requiring all current and prospective contractors to register with the institution to maintain or begin business relationships.
This development comes in the form of an official notice released by the hospital Management, which stressed that the mandate aligns with the Procurement Act to promote compliance, fairness, and transparency in all procurement activities at the hospital.
“Contractors who have previously supplied goods or services to the hospital, as well as those interested in providing products, services, or innovative ideas, must collect the official registration form from the office of the Chief Medical Director,” the notice stated.
The Management warned that failure to comply with this directive could lead to the discontinuation of existing services and exclusion from future contracts.
Interested contractors and suppliers are encouraged to visit the Chief Medical Director’s office during official working hours for further inquiries and to obtain the registration form.
By enforcing this registration process, FUTA Teaching Hospital reiterates its commitment to ensuring equal opportunities for all contractors and upholding strict adherence to procurement laws in the hospital’s supplier engagements.
