
The Lucky Guy Movement (TLG) has described the President of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, as a leader with a good heart and someone who deserves the support of Ondo State people to return as President for the second term.
The pro-Aiyedatiwa political group, gave the stance on Wednesday through its Director General, Hon. Murtala Babatunde Suleiman, during the formal inauguration of TLG Hausa Community at the party’s Secretariat, Oba Adesida Road, Akure, Ondo State Capital.
Murtala said: “TLG believes in the candidacy of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. We believe that he has a good heart. We are confident that there will be good rewards for supporting him to win for the second term.
“As a group, TLG trusts the leadership and directive of the Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa. He has given TLG a directive as far as the 2027 presidential election is concerned and that is what we are doing.”
Honourable Murtala, who explained that it is only God that chooses a leader noted that God himself chose Governor Aiyedatiwa for Ondo State in this season, hence it is to him that we give loyalty. We are rooting for President Tinubu’s re-election while our support for Governor Aiyedatiwa is constant and consistent.”
Meanwhile, Alhaji Aminu Jubril, who led the Hausa Community, showered praises on Governor Aiyedatiwa and President Tinubu, saying that the leaders have done so well with the achievements record.
The programme attracted Hausa residents from the various local government areas in the state, including
Odigbo, Akoko Southwest, Akoko Southeast, Idanre, Owo, Ileoluji/Oke-Igbo
Irele, Okitipupa, Akure North, Ifedore and
Akoko Northeast.
Among those in attendance were the Director General of TLG, Hon. Murtala Babatunde Suleiman, Member of the Ondo State House of Assembly representing Okitipupa Constituency I, Hon. Chris Ayebusiwa, member of the Ondo State House of Assembly representing Akoko South‑West II, Hon. Agbulu Tope Akeem, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Political Matters, Smart Omodunbi, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Strategic Communication, Dr. Debo Akinbami, Alhaji Goniyah, Malam Isa Umar.
