EKIMOGUN DAY 2025: ONDO LAWMAKER; OTUNBA OGUNWUMIJU CELEBRATES ONDO HERITAGE, COMMENDS OSEMAWE AND ORGANISERS
Otunba Moyinolorun Ogunwumiju, the Parliamentary Secretary of the Ondo State House of Assembly and Honourable Member representing Ondo West Constituency 1, has described the 2025 Ekimogun Day celebration as a proud display of the rich cultural heritage, unity, and identity of Ondo Kingdom.
Speaking during the celebration held at the Oba Adesanoye Civic Centre, Ondo, Ogunwumiju said it was a joy and pleasure to celebrate with sons and daughters of Ondo Kingdom as they gathered to honour their cherished traditions.
The event, marked by joy and glamour, attracted traditional rulers, religious leaders, political leaders, market men and women, youths, and student bodies from across the kingdom.
As a representative of the good people of Ondo West Constituency 1 and a proud son of Ondo Kingdom, he stated that it has always been his joy to identify with his people and celebrate their cultural heritage at every opportunity.
He congratulated the Osemawe and Paramount Ruler of Ondo Kingdom, His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Victor Adesimbo Kiladejo, CFR, Jilo III, on the successful celebration of Ekimogun Day 2025, noting that the monarch’s leadership continues to promote peace, unity, and cultural pride.
The Lawmaker also commended the Chairman of Ekimogun Day 2025, Dr. Jibayo Adeyeye, for his dedication, resilience, and commitment to the success of the celebration.
He prayed for continued good health and unity among the people and expressed optimism that Ondo Kingdom would continue to grow, prosper, and flourish.
