CP OYEYEMI OYEDIRAN VISITS BENIN/ORE EXPRESS WAY; RIDS HIGHWAY OF GRIDLOCK.
The Commissioner of Police, Ondo State Police Command, CP Oyeyemi Oyediran psc,fsi, on Sunday 26th December, 2021 paid an unscheduled visit to the Benin/Ore expressway to supervise the activities of Police personnel posted to approved beats on the highway.
This development is as a result of the outcry of citizens on the traffic congestion they encounter on the expressway; issues bordering
on outrageous number of roadblocks, unnecessary delays of commuters and pedestrians while on transit.
The CP during his visit, ensured free passage of vehicles on the highway, warned Policemen posted on duty to be at alert and not use their duty post as a means of extortion.
He further charged them to wade off criminals, promptly attend to emergencies on the road, ensure ease of vehicular movement and protect all road users along Benin/Ore axis.
CP Oyeyemi is also using this medium to assure the people of Ondo State and all road users within the state of adequate security at all times.
