Alumni seek Ado-Ekiti monarch’s help for EKSU

…… Alumni National President pays homage to Ewi.

The National/Global President of the Ekiti State University Alumni Association, Engr Dipo Bamisaye (FNSE) has expressed high degree of respect to the position of traditional institution in the country.

Engr Bamisaye gave the expression when he visited the palace of Ewi of Ado-Ekiti, Oba Rufus Adejugbe Aladesanmi III on a familiarization/Thank you tour in company of some principal officers of the Association.

Presenting the National President to the Ewi, immediate past President, Dr Oludotun Adetunberu said the visit became imperative in view of the strategic position and support which the revered monarch, being the host traditional ruler of the Institution of higher learning had always given to the Alumni and the Institution.

The new National President, Engr Bamisaye commended the monarch for his supportive roles and positive contributions to the development of the University.

While also appreciating the monarch for his presence at the official ground breaking of the Alumni Village, New Alumni Secretariat and the hosting of the Olowo of Owo, Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye lll called for more support from the Ewi, Oba Aladesanmi at sustaining the rapid development of the University.

Responding, the Ewi of Ado-Ekiti, Oba Rufus Adejugbe Aladesanmi III congratulates the New National Executive under the leadership of Engr Dipo Bamisaye.

Oba Aladesanmi described the emergence of Engr Bamisaye as befitting and timely especially when the Association needed capable hands willing to work assiduously for the positive turn around of the fortune of the institution.

The monarch urged the President to use his good office at impacting on the Alumni and the current students of the University by correcting anomalies being experience by graduates and undergraduates alike.
