Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, SAN- OUR NEXT PRESIDENT COME MAY 29th 2023 IN JESUS NAME
Rotimi Akeredolu born on the 21st July 1956) is a Nigerian politician and lawyer who is currently the Governor of Ondo State, in office since February 24, 2017.[1] His adopted prefix is “Arakunrin”,[2] while his nickname is “Aketi”.[3] He is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) who became president of the Nigerian Bar Association in 2008.[4] Akeredolu was also a Managing Partner at the Law Firm of Olujinmi & Akeredolu,[5] a Law Firm he co-founded with Chief Akin Olujinmi, a former Attorney General and Minister for Justice in Nigeria.
On 21 July 2020, Akeredolu was declared as the Ondo governorship candidate after the primary elections under the platform of the APC.[6] He is the current Governor of Ondo State and doubles as the chairman of Southwest Governors Forum.
Dear Arakunrin — In any generation, there can only be one like you. You are that one star. You are a child of destiny, born for no other time than the one we found ourselves today . Destined to lead his people at the time total extinction was staring us in the face. When our ways of life came under brutal attack : The enemies turned our roads, farms, homes and cities in the southwest and indeed all over Nigeria into one big nightmare, Our very freedom, our ways of life came under barbaric and brutal attack in frequent deadly armed robbery , kidnapping attack, killing and maiming all over our cities. Military installations were not spared
There was no one else to come to our rescue except you . You fought to keep us alive , when our people were being slaughtered like rams on the street, farms, in our homes and villages for no reason, when our women and mothers were been raped and kidnapped for ransoms.
Arakunrin— The gruesome murder of one of our first class Obas – our amiable, kind and handsome Oba Isreal Adeusi, the Late Olufon of Ifon has filled us with disbelief, terrible sadness, and a quiet, unyielding anger.. Our eyes are filled with fresh tears always . I can’t imagine how it would have been, if the southern Nigeria governors forum under your able leadership, had not created the alternative force and balance of power, to provide a platform to other Nigerians who are not in agreement with the marauding and implacable enemies, whose main agenda is to cause genocide , take over our lands, turn us to slaves and second class citizens in our own land
Your Excellency- some crucial hours may lie ahead. AND In those hours, the success of our NATION —the continuous existence of the Nation — call NIGERIA may depend on you.
The year 2023 is around the corner, – The hour is NEAR , when we shall call on you to make us proud . Your training has prepared you for the office of the President . Your services to the Nation as Chairman of Southern Nigeria governors forum will give you the necessary edge and advantage . Your honor will guide you.
You believe in Nigeria , and NIGERIANS believes in you.
We seek peace in Nigeria . We must strive for it. And at all time it must be defended. A future lived at the mercy of terrorist , bandits and terrible threats is no peace at all.
We CAN NOT be silent about the situation of our Nation . We have a right to live in peace , to pursue our dreams and be the BEST that the Lord created us to be – We have alternatives to our poverty as a people . We have alternatives to the insecurity of lives and prosperities : A Nation lived at the mercy of terrorists , bandits and terrible threats can not survive nor develop
He that is silent in the days of the adversity of the oppressed, is more guilty and has taken the side of the oppressor.
Today the Nation pay tribute to Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN for his boldness, courage, doggedness, strategic moves, brightness of ideas, patriotic zeal, people-centredness, ability to lead and maintain leadership, and forthrightness. We must all come together and promote him.
