Insecurity: Ondo NOA strategizes with Police, DSS, NSCDC, NDLEA, others

……Ondo NOA boss Receives Corporate Recognition plaque {Award) for  Excellent Services

For her passion and diligent discharge of service through dedication and hardwork, the Ondo NOA State Director, Mrs Adelayo Adefolalu was honoured with a Presentation of  Cooporate Recognition plaque (Award) by the Commissioner of Police in Ondo State, CP Bolaji Salami.

The presentation was done during the NOA State Director’s security awareness tour and Advocacy visit to the office of Ondo CP to seek for more synergy between the two Agencies.

According to Mrs Adefolalu: “It is my Job to ensure proper enlightenment, adequate sensitization and Awareness creation on security consciousness by people of our dear state and also to reemphasize and build  the trust of the people in the Police Force”.

Mrs Adefolalu appreciated the Ondo CP for the recognition as well as the warm reception by the CP and his management team for receiving her and her team.

She reiterated the mandate of NOA which is to preach peaceful coexistence, religious tolerance, stop crime among others which are similar to the mandate of the Nigeria Police Force.

Ondo NOA root for more synergy through advocacy and collaborative efforts with Security Agencies

The management of the  National Orientation Agency,Ondo State Office led by Director Mrs Adelayo Adefolalu on a advocacy visit to the Commissioner of Police in Ondo State,Bolaji Salami.

Ondo NOA Boss Mrs Adefolalu and her team acknowledged the warm reception accorded them by  CP Salami and his management team.

She therefore reiterated the mandate of NOA which is to preach peaceful coexistence, religious tolerance, stop crime etc. which are similar to the mandates of the Nigeria Police Force.

Mrs Adefolalu noted that For Nigeria  to move forward, NOA has taken it upon itself to preach National Ethics to the masses but synergy between NOA and the Nigeria Police Force in Ondo State is mandatory in order for the outreach to be felt.

She commended Ondo state police command under leadership of CP Salami  for the cooperation and collaboration that has been existing,thereby soliciting more robust partnership as NOA has a very good feedback mechanism which will help in information gathering.

NOA boss used the medium to inform the CP and his team of the forthcoming National Ordinance Day celebration coming up on the 16th of September 2021.

CP Bolaji Salami in his remark said the work of both organizations are similar and interwoven and the collaboration & synergy is a must.

He therefore  assured NOA that his doors are opened for NOA and his office to collaborate together  for the protection of the sunshine state (Ondo State) and Nigeria at large.

Also Ondo NOA Sought the continued cooperation and support of the department of state security service DSS while carrying out their mandates.

NOA Boss in the state Mrs Adelayo Adefolalu acknowledged and  appreciated the DSS  Director for the synergy both organizations have been enjoying in the past.

Mrs Adefolalu stressed that As partners working to achieve common goal which is the progress and Peace of the Nation, it is important that further synergy is mandatory in order to curb crimes and other social vices.

The DSS Director appreciated NOA for the visit as NOA endeavor to Unify and consolidate the masses.

He applauded and intimate NOA for the outreach to masses.

He informed NOA that all Security outfits in the State usually meet once in a month to enable them combat crime and addressing the issue of bullion van hijack.

The service have collaborated with NOA and all Federal government agencies with like minds and  assured NOA of further collaboration.

The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC Ondo state command not left out in the visit as Ondo NOA boss Mrs Adelayo Adefolalu and her team re emphasized the need to further  strengthening the working relationship between the two  organizations for peaceful coexistence of the populace, and reduce  crimes to a barest minimum  by means of sensitization as most people are no longer security conscious which NSCDC Office can help do justice to.

The Commandant of the NSCDC in Ondo State highlighted the security consciousness as something that needs urgent attention as school pupils are not been taught anything about their safety and security in schools which if done, will help go a long way.

He further appealed to NOA to continue the good work as the command is planning on visiting schools and will love NOA to be part of the team.

A similar visit was paid to NDLEA command office in Akure as way of stepping up campaign against drug abuses in Nigeria.

Ondo NOA Boss Adefolalu re echoed the essence of continued mandatory collaboration between NDLEA and NOA  in order to achieve a common goal.

Meanwhile the NDLEA boss said that sensitization has been part of the Agency work  and not just arresting drug users but enlightening them on the need to stop the use of drugs.

He applauded NOA for the visit and said his office is willing to collaborate with NOA to sensitize the masses as most drug users are lured into it by peer pressure.

The State Commander appreciated NOA for the timely visit and promises to involve NOA in all sensitization.

As we are now in the ember months,Ondo NOA led by Mrs Adelayo Adefolalu and her team Visited the Federal Road Safety Corps FRSC On a campaign as well as sensitization against the evil notions attached to Ember Months by road users.

Also Sensitizing the Drivers and other road users on over speeding and not to drink before & even while driving is mandatory to achieve a zero crash ember months.

Thus,it is therefore imperative that both organizations collaborate to achieve a common goal as no organization can handle it on its own.

The Sector Commander lauded NOA for the advocacy  visit.
Adding that, it is collective effort to ensure and achieve zero crash on our highways.

He affirmed that NOA will be involved in all sensitization programmes and collaboration between the two organizations
