Ondo NUJ Chairman, 5 others bag City Movers Magazine Award

….Event holds Oct 28 in Akure

The Ondo State Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Comrade Adetona Aderoboye is among eminent personalities that will bag Ondo State Celebrities Award as the Most Outstanding Union Leader of the year (2021).

Among other eminent personalities that prepared to receive award as City Movers Magazine celebrates her 11th anniversary are Mrs. Grace Abimbola, National President, CASOAN who has bagged Outstanding Leadership Award; Mr. Michael Ologbese, the principal of School for the hearing impaired, who is also the Chairman, National Association of Special School Teachers in Ondo State. Ologbese bagged Outstanding Special School Principal of the year while Alhaji Amosa Adebayo Sulaiman popularly known as Ajijola Anobi, the Manager of RAHIS has bagged Most Outstanding Man of the year award while the couple of the year award goes to Mr. and Mrs. Eniola Samuel Temidayo as Outstanding Couple of the year.

The event’s Chairman is the State APC Chairman, Engr. Ade Adetimehin; the lecture titled; “Role of Community Journals in Enhancing Community Policing (Amotekun), in Ondo State will be delivered by Barr. Gbenga Olaniyi, the Executive Chairman of Akure South Local Government.

Other people invited include Alhaji Jimoh Dojumo SSA to the state governor on security matters while the Commander of Amotekun Corps, Chief Tunji Adeleye; Former Council Boss, Hon. Adebayo Alarapon and a PDP Chieftain, Hon Babatunde Faro are also invited as Special Guests.

Highlight of the event will include the official inauguration of the Board of Directors.

The event will hold on Thursday 28th October, 2021 at First Molac Hotel, Akure by 2:00pm.
