AKURE ASSEMBLY ASPIRANT, ADEWOLE ‘MAJOR DEE’ CONGRATULATES OLABIMTAN, OGUNLEYE, IWAGUN, OLOTU, OTHERS
A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Akure South local government area of Ondo State, Hon Ayodeji Steve Adewole, popularly known as “MAJOR DEE”, has Congratulated the newly appointed Rt. Hon. Victor Olabimtan on his appointment as the Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) by Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN.
Adewole who is also the State House of Assembly Aspirant for Akure South Constituency II, equally felicitated a former Commissioner for Works, Hon Saka Yusuf Ogunleye on his appointment as a full time Board member of the SUBEB.
In a Press Release he personally signed, Hon Adewole described the appointment of Rt Hon Olabimtan as a round peg in a round hole as a retired School Administrator and seasoned educationist.
The Assembly Hopeful, who is also the Chief Executive Officer of Major Dee Motors, expressed optimism that deep experience of Olabimtan as a former Speaker of the State House of Assembly would also help him and other members of SUBEB Board to consolidate on the successes recorded by the present administration in boosting Universal Education in the state especially provision of modern facilities at Primary and Secondary schools across the state.
While rejoicing with Hon Ogunleye on this huge appointment, the Assembly Aspirant expresses optimism that the former Commissioner will bring his political and administrative dexterity on the table in enhancing SUBEB level operations.

The 42yr-old APC chieftain, also congratulates two members of Pool Betting And Lotteries Board namely; Miss Temitope Iwagun and Mr. Olotu Oluwaseun Alaba, tasking the appointees to justify the confidence reposed in them by the Governor.
Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu,SAN, had on thursday approved the appointment of Rt. Hon. Victor Olabimtan as the Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB).
The Governor equally approved the appointment of Mr. Sam Erejuwa as the Chairman of the Ondo State Oil Producing Area Development Commission (OSOPADEC), while Mr. Olajide Akinroluyo was appointed as the chairman of the Pool Betting and Lotteries Board.
