Wilson Ejeben Foundation commissions symbolic Roundabout in Ilaje

The Wilson Ejeben Foundation has commissioned another state of the art roundabout at Lape junction along Igbokoda/Ipare road in Ilaje local government council area in Ondo state.

The strategic and symbolic statues which is the second of its kind in the area was built to connect Igbokoda, Ugbo and Lape communities, ensure free flow of traffic and to showcase the cultural heritage of Ilaje extraction.

In his welcome address, the founder, Wilson Ejeben Foundation said he’s charitable conscious because of its value for human survival, well-being as a local and global community.

His contribution to the development of Ilaje local government council area of Ondo is a way of giving back to the community where he grew up to later become a successful Man in life.

Addressing the gathering, Igbokoda local government council Chairman Hon, Juwase Goke represented by his Vice, Hon Dickson Obele commended the foundation’s developmental strides in the area describing it as unprecedented.

He assured of its administration readiness to partner with the foundation.

In his remark, the Olu of Igbokoda His Royal Majesty, Oba Afolabi Odidiomo described the philanthropic gesture as a milestone that would further promote the cultural values of the riverine community.

He stressed further that the project is a strong commitment to the well- being of the ilaje community as a whole while challenging sons and daughters of the Land to emulate Chief Wilson Ejeben initiatives, wake up to their responsibilities and shun bitter politics that’s not profitable to the land.

Also speaking, a Member representing Ilaje / ESE Odo federal constituency , Hon Kolade Akinjo represented by his SLA, Barr. Sola Adeomo applauded the project with assurance to synergies with the Foundation for collective growth and overall development of the water side area.

Chief Augustine Adofure on behalf of the Uhrobo community appreciated the founder for making them proud and a reference point in Ilaje community.

No doubt the golden statues which are symbol of artificial dexterity with the first phase located at the entry and acess point to Ilaje communities has aided traffic flow and added beauty, and uniqueness to the entire area thereby given an expression of Ilaje’s perennial occupation to first timer and tourists.

Chief Wilson Ejeben who’s the chairman of Ilaje leadership forum is a young prominent personality and business mogul in Delta State that has within the shortest time demonstrated the cardinal points of charity which include time, essence, talent and money.

Highlights of his notable achievements include; construction of classroom blocks, bridges, Town halls and roundabouts, skills acquisition, youths and community empowerment among others.
