Architect Gbenga Kolawole has won the PDP primary ticket for Akoko south west and east federal constituency seat
Architect Gbenga Kolawole emerged and declared winner by electoral returning officer Egunjobi Tayo
While Announcing the results,by the electoral returning officer Egunjobi Tayo Architect Gbenga kolawole secured 43 votes to defeat two other contestants hon.Adejoro Ifelayo with 30 votes &Bar Aponbiewe Felix polled 5 votes
A total number of 80 delegates from the two local governments in the federal constituency participated in the election
A breakdown of the delegates showed Akoko south west has 46 while Akoko south east 34
The exercise which held @ Oka Akoko Town hall,headquarters of Akoko south west was peaceful as the security personnel were on ground as well as officials of the Independent national electoral commission INEC to monitor the primary election.
