OWO ATTACK: AKURE SOUTH II MHA APC CANDIDATE BARR OLUWAROTIMI ABITOGUN MOURNS AND CONDEMN THE RECENT KILLING IN OWO, CALLS FOR PROTECTION OF CITIZENRY.
Following the terror attack on St Francis Catholic Church Owa-luwa Street, Owo, Ondo State, the vice chairman Akure South Local Government and MHA Akure South II APC candidate, Ondo State, Barrister Oluwarotimi Abitogun has bemoaned horrific loss of lives and injuring of innocent souls at the incident.
The APC Assembly Candidate specifically expresses deep sorrow that some lives were lost in the attack, laments the callous ways in which the unprovoked and barbaric massacre was carried out at the church last Sunday.
Abitogun condemned the attack which basically cut short lives of some citizens as well as other bright Nigerians especially children, while dozens of people were injured.
My sincere condolence to the Church, entire Owo Kingdom, and to the people of Ondo State.
Barrister Oluwarotimi Abitogun urges security agencies not to allow this sad event to go without bringing the perpetrators to book. We should all not cower to the whims of elements who lurk in darkness to unleash inconceivable wickedness on our people. We believe in the leadership of Mr. Governor and his resolve to keep ondo state safe, and no amount of intimidation will stop him from achieving a safe and secure ondo state.
Abitogun commends the efforts of Ondo state government, and the Amotekun Corps at ensuring security of lives and property which needs to be supported by all citizens/residents of the state.
Barrister Oluwarotimi Abitogun stands in solidarity with the people of Ondo state, and in particular the families who have lost their loved ones. Those responsible for the despicable act should be speedily brought to justice.
Barrister Oluwarotimi Abitogun also congratulates Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his victory at APC presidential primaries, “Kudos to our own Arakunrin Rotimi Odunayo Akeredolu and Ondo State APC presidential primary delegates, we shall all be lifted IJN”
