Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG, Muhammed Akeera, has assumed office as the new AIG in charge of the Nigeria Police Force , Zone 17, Akure, comprising, Ondo and Ekiti states, vowing to tackle criminals in the zone.
Akeera in a chat with newsmen promised that the police would cooperate with other security agencies to protect the lives and property of the people of the zone.
Muhammed Akeera takes over from retired Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Ene Okon.
