A renowned political group, One Million Man March For BTO, has thrown its weight behind an Aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Mr. Ife Ehindero, who is contesting the House of Representatives seat for Akoko North East/North West Federal Constituency in the forthcoming bye-election.
The legislative seat became vacant after the former lawmaker Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, was appointed Minister of Interior by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
However, the group declared support for the aspirant at a meeting on Thursday held in Ikare in Akoko North East Local Government Area of Ondo State.
Speaking at the gathering, the Convener of One million Man March For BTO, Pastor Olumide Obadele, said the rationale behind the support for Ehindero was because of his flawless pedegree and age-long commitment to the ruling APC.
Obadele noted that “the aspirant aligns with the core values and principles of the political group, making him a natural choice for endorsement.
“The candidate also demonstrates strong leadership qualities and the ability to effectively represent the group’s interests at the federal level.
“Also, the aspirant has a proven track record of community involvement and public service, showing his commitment to the constituents his proposed policies and legislative agenda which is in sync with the group’s objectives and the needs of the constituents.”
