Akoko Youths laud Ondo Senator Ipinsagba, as he gives stewardship

Hundreds of members of the youth wing of the All Progressives Congress in Akoko North-East Local Government Area of Ondo State famously known as ‘Awalokan Group’ have hailed the senator representing Ondo North senatorial district in the senate, Sen. Jide Ipinsagba for his landmark achievements in his first quarter at the red chamber.

The Awalokan group who made the commendation while receiving the senator in Ikare-Akoko appreciated Ipinsagba for quality representation so far.

Addressing the gathering, Senator Ipinsagba who rolled out his feat in the last few months as senator called for unity amongst the leadership of the the local government for the progress of the senatorial district and its people.

“Let’s also say here that despite the short period, we have embarked on several projects that will benefit the good people of Ondo North and we are going to keep working in different communities”.

He assured the people of the senatorial district that the future of the youths in the area was secured under his leadership.

“I will come back here to give my account of stewardship from time to time because I am one of you and you need to be briefed at all times as your Senator”.

Senator Ipinsagba also urged them to remain calm ahead of the upcoming by-election in Akoko North-East/North-west federal constituency in the House of Representatives as the party leadership in the state is working on who to pick as a candidate to fill the vacant seat of the constituency in the green chamber.

You would recall that the seat of the federal constituency became vacant following the resignation of the former elected representative of the constituency, Mr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, who has been appointed as the Minister for Interior by President Bola Tinubu.

The Ondo North senator added that the strategic meeting with the youth is part of networking toward attaining victory for the party in the area by the time INEC fixed a date for the election.

Eminent leaders present at the meeting, include former deputy governor, Lasis Oluboyo, commissioner for water resources, Fatai Olotu, SSA on youth to governor Akeredolu, Muyiwa Ogunyemi among others.
